• Thoughts: I woke up Tuesday to no internet. I spent the morning trying to troubleshoot and getting in touch with tech support. I got my 1k by rage writing after I was told I’d have to wait for a solution.

• Thoughts: Phone call stress got to me today. All of my energy went into fighting with a new router we received overnight, and then dealing with phone tech support and long hold times while I tried to convince them the problem was not a defective router.

My daily progress updates got off to a rocky start with a surprise internet outage Tuesday morning. I’ve spent the last two and a half days alternately dealing with my ISP and waiting for them to offer a solution. It’s not an experience I’d recommend to anyone trying to hold onto their sanity.

Tuesday I used my frustration as fuel and got the words out that way. Those words will probably need some extra TLC to get them up to snuff. I’ll have to remember that writing under similar circumstances should be used for first drafts only.

Yesterday I was beyond exhausted from all of my efforts Tuesday and even more headaches from my struggles with tech support. I let it get the better of me and my writing suffered for it. If I could go back I would try getting out of the house for a while and hopefully leave behind the internet woes that way. It would only be a temporary solution, but if it would help me write I’d be okay with that.

Today my internet connection was restored after lunch time. I spent the morning waiting for and then dealing with a tech. It wasn’t as bad as it might have been, but I still feel like my morning was wasted. The rest of the day can be dedicated to writing.
