December 8

• Thoughts: Back on track! It took a lot of smaller writing sessions to add up to my 1,000 words for today, but I got there and that’s all that matters.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Writing and revising combo. Hopefully write another 1k, but also get to work on Chapter Five so it will be ready to be posted later this week.

December 9

• Thoughts: Lot’s of editing done today! I’ve only got a bit more work to do before Chapter Five will be finished and ready to post. Exciting! I think the next chapter will probably be posted on Saturday.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Finish editing and get back to writing again.

December 10

• Tomorrow’s goal: Get back to writing new stuff. Not putting too much pressure on myself since it will be my birthday.

• Thoughts: Writing on my birthday might not have been the best idea. I learned that birthdays are much, much better for planning. I added a ton of scenes to the outline. If you haven’t guessed already The Dreams is going to be a very long story.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Post the next chapter and get on with the writing.

December 12

• Thoughts: I’m doing a bit better writing-wise, but the scene I’m working on is giving me trouble. I think I have it figured out though so hopefully tomorrow will go even better.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Finish the troublesome scene and write more than I did today.

December 13

• Project: The Dreams

• Today’s word count: 558
• Thoughts: I just barely wrote more than yesterday. I learned an important lesson. If things are going well I shouldn’t stop writing. There is always a chance I will fail to have the breakthrough I expected the next day.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing, of course. I’m really hoping to reach 80k. That will be fun.

The Dreams is going to be posting on a weekly, or near weekly basis for at least the next couple months. I’m just so excited to have enough of a writing buffer to be able to look ahead like this. I just hope I have the stamina to keep it up and see this story through to the end.

I’m not 100% sure what I will do during the upcoming holidays writing-wise and in regards to posting chapters. I’d like to still post a chapter each of those weeks, but I’m a bit worried that people will be too busy to read. I guess those chapters will still be there in January and I’m worrying about nothing.
