What I Read in January

I don’t read nearly as much as some people, but I do try to read a couple books a month so I thought it would be fun to share what books I read this month. I’m not going to review these books here though because I feel there are plenty of people out there expressing their opinions on books much better than I ever could.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t read as much as I would have liked in January. Hopefully February will be a bit better for completing books.

Now on to the books!

In February I’m planning to continue reading Discworld books, but I’ll probably throw some other books in there too because I really don’t want to burn out on Terry Pratchett because his books are so much fun.

What did you read in January? Do you have any reading plans for next month?

  1. This month, I got through three books – The Secret King: Lethao by Dawn Chapman, The Cogsmith’s Daughter by Kate M Colby, and Anna Karenina (which took me about 3 weeks on its own). In February, I’m planning to start the Thieves Guild series by CG Hatton, which I got from the author at my last comic con.

  2. LOVE the Discworld books, but the husband and I ONLY read them aloud, so we don’t get through them very quickly. They’re just so much fun to actively read TO someone else–the laughter fits are real. XD Here’s hoping next month is awesome for you!

  3. I agree with the above comments about enjoying Terry Pratchett’s books read out loud! I listen to audiobooks in the car and those are some of my favorites.

My January was pretty busy so I didn’t read any books, but I just got several new audiobooks from my local library. February will be great.
