CampNaNoWriMo Week 4 Recap

CNW_Participant

How are there only two days left in the month! How did that happen?

With 28 days of the month behind me I feel like I didn’t try hard enough to write this month. I still wrote more this month than any other month so far this year, so I guess it’s not so bad.

I’m trying to make a dash to the finish line, but I’m not at all convinced I will be able to win. Progress is progress though! I have more words than I did at the beginning of the month.

Right now my total word count is 17,410. CampNaNoWriMo is predicting I will reach my word count target on June 20. I need to write 10,864 words per day to finish on time. That’s a lot!

I should really get back to writing. I would like to write a couple thousand more words tonight.

Once the month is over I’ll be back to recap the last two days of the month. I’ll be doing a ton of writing between now and then. Hopefully I will get to report a victory.

How is CampNaNoWriMo going for you? Have you crossed the finish line? Are you like me and still struggling to get caught up before Saturday night?

  1. I won, but it was a struggle because I realized that I didn’t care much for the story. (And you wrote more words than me — my goal was only 15k!)
