• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 47,753
• Today’s word count: 556
• Thoughts: I’m happy enough with today’s word count, but I’m still a little disappointed. I really want to finish up this arc, but a part of my is hesitating. Once I figure out how to get past this I’ll be more efficient as a writer (hopefully my solution will translate to future projects as well). Until that happens I’m stuck with a daily struggle to produce a decent word count and make real progress with the story.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Write more. Work on discovering why I’m afraid of wrapping up story arcs.

March 21

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 1,044
• Thoughts: Today was a pretty productive day! I meant for it to be even more productive, but the evening got away from me. Usually, I do most of my writing at night, but today I wrote all my words during daylight hours!
• Tomorrow’s goal: See if I can get a repeat of today. I’m not sure it is possible, there’s a chance it was a fluke, but if it wasn’t, I might have a new time to get the words out!

March 22

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 48,904
• Today’s word count: 107
• Thoughts: Today was a terrible writing day. I just didn’t have the energy or the motivation to produce any more words.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Revising. Thursdays are revision days so that has to be my first priority. I’d also like to write more, but we’ll see if I have time to make that happen.

March 23

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 48,923
• Today’s word count: 19
• Thoughts: Revisions. It feels like it is pretty normal at this point to have a very small word count gain from revising. I wish I could have finished the chapter and gotten back to writing, but that didn’t happen.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Wrap up revisions and return to writing this draft.

March 24

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 48,991
• Today’s word count: 68
• Thoughts: I finished up revisions and shared the chapter with my patrons (they get full chapters as soon as they’re ready now instead of waiting until Saturday!) but I didn’t write after I wrapped up revisions. I ended up acquiring a used aquarium and spent a ton of time cleaning it up.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Post the chapter and write!

March 25

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 49,131
• Today’s word count: 140
• Thoughts: Not a spectacular word count for the day, but I haven’t been writing most Saturdays so writing at all is a victory.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I want to get back in the swing of writing large word counts. CampNaNoWriMo is just around the corner and I need to be ready to write a huge number of words every day for a month.

March 26

• Thoughts: Yeah… today was not a great writing day. I ended up being busy again and when I finally had time to sit down and write I had no energy. I just wanted to sleep.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Wake up rested and write so many words.
