• Today’s word count: 343
• Thoughts: I wrote, but the amount I wrote isn’t enough to make me happy. A couple hundred more words and I’d be pretty pleased, but this word count is just a bit too low in my opinion. I struggled to figure out how to write what was in my head today so it doesn’t surprise me that my word count reflects that.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Get out of my own head and get the words written.

September 26

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 608
• Thoughts: I feel like I’m getting back on track. Even though most of what I’ve been writing has been character exploration, I’m still really happen with the words I’ve committed to paper. I hope they’ll help me keep everyone in character later.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Revising. Maybe some writing. I know I’ll be busy tomorrow because I’m going to a show in the evening. I’ll revise before I go and hopefully write when I get back.

September 27

• Thoughts: As you can see from my word count, I didn’t do much in the way of writing after the show. I revised during the day, but when I got home late last night, I was wound up but in no way in the right mindset to write new words.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More revising. More writing. I’m not going anywhere so I should have a productive day.

September 28

• Thoughts: More revisions today. I really want to write, but I know I need to get this chapter into shape before I switch gears.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Finish up revision and get back to writing!

• Thoughts: Ugh. Revising is hard this week. I want to go back to easy weeks with one day of revising.

• Thoughts: I got the chapter posted! I wrote a bit, even if my word count doesn’t appear to support that story.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Sundays are either great or terrible for writing. I’m hoping to make this one a great Sunday.

October 1

• Today’s word count: 312
• Thoughts: It was struggle to get started today. I’m not sure what is making writing so hard lately. I want to blame it on my overly long revision times. Those days are forced breaks from writing new words and jumping forward again has been extremely difficult.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Writing. I want to orchestrate a day of writing with reckless abandon. I’m not sure it will happen, but the start of October, with the NaNoWriMo forums getting reset seems like the perfect time to try.
