• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 351
• Thoughts: I’m happy my word count is looking a little more lively today, but I’m not happy with the sort of fog that fills up my brain when I try to tackle writing-related tasks. I hope it isn’t burn out. So far I’m willing to place the blame on the rapidly changing weather over the last week. I feel worn out by it and that usually makes it harder for me to think clearly.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Battle the brain fog. Write. Read. Take notes. I have so much NaNo prep left to do and it is starting to make me anxious.

October 17

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 628
• Thoughts: Today was a productive day. I wrote. I worked on NaNo prep. I can’t complain about the amount of stuff I accomplished.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More NaNo prep. Time is running short. I feel the pressure to finish my prep. Also! Revisions. I’m going to keep up the habit of starting my revisions on Wednesday because it seems I really need the extra time these days.

October 18

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 235
• Thoughts: Today was a productive day. I worked on revisions, I reread and took notes on a couple chapters of The Dreams in preparation for NaNoWriMo, and I wrote some new words for Inbetween.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Wrap up revisions, read some more chapters of The Dreams, and write some new words!

October 19

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 31
• Thoughts: I finished revising and it is such a relief to have it out of the way!
• Tomorrow’s goal: NaNo prep and writing! I’m excited to get back to the stuff I love doing right on schedule this week.

October 20

Today was a strange day writing-wise. I woke up and fully intended to spend the day on NaNo prep and writing. In reality, I worked on NaNo prep and abandoned Inbetween. I don’t regret it too much. Progress is progress. I’m just wondering how I managed to miss out on the writing part of my day.

October 21

No progress made today. I had such a busy day! I was barely home so there was not much of an opportunity to write words or work on my prep for NaNoWriMo.

October 22

• Thoughts: Well, today was better than nothing. I’m considering Saturday to be a day off, which I haven’t done in a long time, and getting back in my writing groove after a day off does take at least a day or two.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. More NaNo prep. I can do it!
