• Project: The Dreams

• Today’s word count: 749
• Thoughts: Today is the first day of this NaNoWriMo that I went to bed without having passed the word count goal for the day. It just wasn’t a good day in general health-wise so the idea of staying up longer to reach my goal just sounded terrible.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Catch up! Maybe even get ahead. I think I can do it.

November 7

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 127,887
• Today’s word count: 566

• Today’s word count: 1,015

• Thoughts: Today was pretty productive. I worked on both my projects, which I thought I might end up doing more often. The only reason I haven’t is because it is hard to switch my train of thought from one to the other. Today it went well so maybe I should be less hesitant moving forward.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I’m still trying to catch up after having a lackluster day on Monday.

November 8

• Project: Inbetween

• Thoughts: Today was a very productive day thanks to sprinting with friends. I started work on revising this week’s chapter of Inbetween. Then I dived into writing The Dreams. Today was my most productive day of the month so far, word count-wise.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More revising. More writing. I want to keep on track or pull ahead of the target word count for the rest of the month.

November 9

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: -17

• Today’s word count: 1,791

• Thoughts: Today was a productive day. I finished revising a chapter for this weekend and I finished writing an early scene I was looking forward to in The Dreams.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Writing! So much writing. I plan to write as much of both my stories as I possibly can. We’ll see how that works out since Friday has become errand day lately.

November 10

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 127,913
• Today’s word count: 40

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 14,616
• Today’s word count: 67

• Thoughts: It was harder to write today than I could have predicted. I was distracted and just did not have the energy to put behind my will to writing when I found the inclination. In the end, it seemed like a better idea to go to sleep and try again tomorrow.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Post a chapter of Inbetween and write, write, write to make up my word count for NaNoWriMo.

November 11

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 17,090
• Today’s word count: 2,474
• Thoughts: Today almost beat my most productive day of the month so far. I probably could have surpassed it, but I gave myself permission to goof off for a while because I had already surpassed 2k for the day and when I returned to writing I was too tired to make any real effort.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I think I can get caught up again and maybe even get ahead if I push myself enough.

November 12

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 128,204
• Today’s word count: 291

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 17,496
• Today’s word count: 406

∴

• Thoughts: Today wasn’t the best of days for writing, but it wasn’t the worst either. I got stuck and had to walk away from my keyboard to work them out. It helped, but also cut into my writing time.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. It is NaNoWriMo, after all!
