• Thoughts: Today was a productive day. I was really motivated to create a scene in Inbetween and I think it showed. There’s still a bit of that scene to wrap up, but I’m so proud of the progress I made today. My only regret is that it took a lot of the energy I would have normally put toward The Dreams, but there will be other days to tackle that story.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I’m still a bit behind on my word count for the month, but I’m pretty confident I have the ability to make up those words within the next day or two.

November 14

• Thoughts: Today was not the day of writing I was hoping for, but I did write and I suppose that has to count for something. I was incredibly anxious for reasons I still don’t understand for most of the day and that made it very hard to focus on writing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! Revising! I have a lot on my plate and I have to hope I can handle it.

November 15

• Thoughts: I wish I could blame my lackluster word count on revising a chapter of Inbetween. I did work on revisions, but I don’t think it was the reason I was so slow today. Today the words just were not on my side.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More revising. More writing. I have to keep believing that tomorrow will be the day I get caught up.

November 16

• Project: The Dreams

• Today’s word count: 664
• Thoughts: Today was a weird, weird day. I didn’t feel well pretty much all day, and the times when I wasn’t feeling absolutely awful, I felt like I couldn’t concentrate on anything at all. I didn’t touch my chapter revisions today because I was worried about making a bigger mess of things.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Get over this weirdness and write. Also, revise!

November 17

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 19,177
• Today’s word count: 92
• Thoughts: Well, it turns out the weirdness was the start of a migraine. Yippee! Not much happened today. I wrote a bit just to keep my NaNoWriMo streak going for the month.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Kick the migraine. Get back to work. Have an awesome, amazing day of writing.

November 18

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 130,018
• Today’s word count: 54
• Thoughts: Well, today didn’t go exactly like I planned. I spent the first half of the day still battling the migraine. I got better later and managed to finish revising this week’s chapter of Inbetween. I only wrote a couple sentences in addition to that before I was ready to sleep.
• Tomorrow’s goal: With the migraine behind me, I want to dive back into writing. I know I can do it. The ideas are there. I just need to buckle down and get them out of my head.

November 19

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 1,169
• Thoughts: Well, it looks like I’m making a comeback. I just wish I could have written enough today to start making a come back for NaNoWriMo, but what I wrote is certainly better than nothing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I know I can write more than I did today.
