December 11

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 155
• Thoughts: I feel like I’m getting better. I might not be showing the recovery yet, but we’ll blame that on today being my birthday. I do think I’m on my way to having real, productive word counts again. I have to. If things continue to be problematic with Patreon, I want to be able to prove to any and all current and potential supporters that my work is here to stay.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Write write write. I think I can do it. Let’s hope!

December 12

• Today’s word count: 551
• Thoughts: Today was the sort of writing day I was hoping for all last week. Well, it finally happened. All I can do now is hope that I can keep it up.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I feel really motivated after today’s success. As long as I can write I should write and I will.

December 13

• Thoughts: Yay! Another day of good writing. I’m hoping I can get in the habit of writing this much or more every day again.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Writing. Revising. I can do it all.

December 14

• Today’s word count: 200
• Thoughts: Well, today’s word count looks a bit lower, but I’m not discouraged. I revised a bit today too. It feels good to get back to something resembling my usual routine. I’m glad I haven’t revised in a while. It’s not my favorite thing to do and I think it would have discouraged me more.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Wrap up revising and more writing!

December 15

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 134,729
• Today’s word count: -2
• Thoughts: I worked on revising today. I’m not quite done. There’s still more to do, but I had plans in the evening that took me away from my keyboard. I’m confident I’ll get a new chapter up this weekend.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Wrap up revisions, post a chapter, get everything else on my to-do list done.

December 16

A chapter got posted, but no writing progress was made. Spent the day preparing for a Christmas party.

December 17

I had a Christmas party today. Before the party I had a terrible night’s sleep. Between the two, I couldn’t bring myself to write today. I’m counting it as a day lost to the holidays.
