• Thoughts: I wrote! It’s something. After stepping away for a few days it’s really hard to get back in the swing of things.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I’m positive I can do it. There’s no reason I can’t write a ton of words.

December 19

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 408
• Thoughts: I seem to be getting my groove back. I was hoping for 500 words today, but I had another day where I just suddenly stopped having energy and needed to sleep. I really thought I had at least another hour to write and wrap up my day, but nope!
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I’m confident I can do it!

December 20

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 135,628
• Today’s word count: 369
• Thoughts: Today wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t as great as I hoped it would be either. I can’t say I’m disappointed. After the awful time I had writing for most of this month, I’m happy to be writing at all.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Writing, revising. Everything.

December 21

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 575
• Thoughts: Today was a pretty good writing day. My greatest downfall was taking a break. I could have written so much more if I didn’t allow myself to stop when I did. It was so hard picking up where I left off later and it really slowed me down.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. More revising. More everything. Let’s do this!

December 22

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 51
• Thoughts: Ugh. Today did not go my way. I wish I could explain exactly why it didn’t work out, but I do know my anxiety was part of the problem.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Write write write. Get a chapter posted. I really hope I can!

December 23

• Today’s word count: 23
• Thoughts: Today was not a good writing day. I can’t put my finger on why it didn’t work out, but I struggled to write any words at all.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Let’s try to write, but not until after my family’s Christmas stuff. I might manage to get a chapter posted if I’m lucky.

December 24

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 136,378
• Today’s word count: 101
• Thoughts: This is about what I expect for Christmas Eve. I’m not going to beat myself up over it. I’ll just try to do better tomorrow since we’re planning to stay in and take it easy.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Relaxing. Writing. Probably other fun stuff.
