• Thoughts: My word count isn’t all that high today, but I had a productive day. I wrote, finished revisions and posted the chapter before bed.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I’m feeling productive lately and that’s making me even more motivated.

February 6

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 226
• Thoughts: I wanted to write today, but changing gears back to just writing was more difficult than it should have been. A part of me kept thinking I needed to be revising and that just made it a little harder to produce new words.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Let’s hope I can get back into the swing of things.

February 7

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 336
• Thoughts: Today started out so great. I was motivated and productive. Then the day progressed and I started getting anxious. This happens far too often and it really does derail my day.
• Tomorrow’s goal: I need to write more and I hope I can find the time to revise a chapter as well. I want to get back on schedule with revising and posting chapters!

February 8

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 611
• Thoughts: Today’s progress was amazing! I don’t know how it happened, but it did. It feels great to write over 500 words in a day again.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More of the same, I hope!

February 9

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 34
• Thoughts: Today was a typical Friday. I’m trying to make my Fridays less typical, but my effort isn’t really showing yet.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. More revising. More chores. Sometimes being busy increases my productivity. Maybe it will work tomorrow.

February 10

• Today’s word count: 116
• Thoughts: A bit better, but still not good. Weekends just don’t allow me to get into the zone.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Do better. I think I can do it if I put my mind to it.

February 11

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 145,576
• Today’s word count: 213
• Thoughts: Today was an interesting day. I didn’t write as much as I would like, but I was inspired to start thinking ahead to April and CampNaNoWriMo. I know there are 7 weeks to go, but that realization made me too excited to focus on much else for most of the afternoon.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Back to writing. Weekdays are significantly less distracting than weekends so I’m sure I can do it if I set my mind to it.
