• Today’s word count: 321
• Thoughts: I feel like my writing groove is coming back, but the timing is always unfortunate. My best, clearest writing seems to happen at bed time. I can’t keep pushing my bed time later and later so I need to find a new best writing time.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing and maybe some revising if I’m lucky.

February 20

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 202
• Thoughts: Today was a good day, but I don’t have a ton of words to show for it. The weather was gorgeous and more than a little distracting. It was great for my creativity, but not great for getting my butt in my chair for writing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. The weather is supposed to be amazing again, but I think I can manage to write a bit.

February 21

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 502
• Thoughts: Today was a productive day! I haven’t had a day like this in a while. It feels great to make some serious progress for once.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! Revising! I’m motivated. I’m inspired. Let’s go!

February 22

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 307
• Thoughts: Today would be on track to be even better than yesterday if I wasn’t so easily distracted. It was worth it though. I got to have some laughs with friends.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Writing. Revising. The same old song and dance, but maybe better than ever?

February 23

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 41
• Thoughts: Today was a really, really bad day. It wasn’t even me that was going through the worst of it. I spent a large part of my evening waiting in the emergency room. Everyone is fine now, but I had lost the ability to write for the rest of the night.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Hopefully find my will to write again.

February 24

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 147,803
• Today’s word count: 25
• Thoughts: Today was a busy day, but in a good way. I got to see Mary and the Witch’s Flower and spend time with friends. It was relaxing enough to mostly make up for the stress of yesterday.
• Tomorrow’s goal: I want to stay home and write. I think I can make it happen.

February 25

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 148,306
• Today’s word count: 503
• Thoughts: I feel like I’m getting back on track again. I started to get a headache while writing this evening, but I could not stop writing until I got the ideas that were fully formed out of my head. I might regret it in the morning, but I’m so excited to have a concept appear fully formed in my head. It’s been a long time since that happened and I managed to write it all in one go.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I have no plans to go out and have adventures for a few days so I should have plenty of time to focus on writing.
