February 26

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 26
• Thoughts: I migraine hit me hard today. I wasn’t up for sitting at my desk for most of the day and when I was able to, I didn’t feel much like writing. I worked on revising in bits and pieces and actually managed to wrap up revisions on a chapter.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Kick the migraine. Get back to writing.

February 27

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 148,827
• Today’s word count: 495
• Thoughts: I managed to get over my migraine pretty early in the day which made it possible for me to write again. I’m so glad! It’s always a relief to be able to write.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I’m feeling confident and motivated to get more work done.

February 28

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 149,336
• Today’s word count: 509
• Thoughts: Today turned out to be a productive day. Once again, most of my productivity came late at night. At this point, I try to get other things done during the day and focus on writing after the sun goes down. It still makes me anxious to put it off something I consider a priority, but I’m much less frustrated when I don’t force writing early in the day.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Revising. Let’s aim to be productive!

March 1

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 149,633
• Today’s word count: 297
• Thoughts: My word count wasn’t as high today. I had a hard time getting started, but once I did, the words came quickly until they dried up and I was left wondering what to do next. I decided to sleep on it.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Hopefully some revising. I’m feeling pretty confident about Friday this week.

March 2

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 224
• Thoughts: Well, today was a strange day. We had a couple brief power outages due to wind and one outage that lasted most of the afternoon. It derailed my day, but I think I recovered at least slightly.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Get back on track with the productivity thing.

March 3

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 139
• Thoughts: Writing on Saturdays is hard. I consider it a victory that I wrote at all.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! Revising! Let’s try to get a chapter posted!

March 4

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 150,039
• Today’s word count: 43
• Thoughts: My word count looks pitiful, but I’m happy with my accomplishment. I got a new chapter posted! It fought with me. For some reason chapters on the shorter end always do, but I got it into shape and posted it for everyone to read. I hope it is as polished as I think it is.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Back to writing. I have plenty more to write. Things are starting to get more exciting in Inbetween again and that helps keep me motivated.
