• Thoughts: I’m getting back on track. My day started off with my mind in a place far away from writing. I had a lot to do before I could focus on sitting down at my desk and writing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I know I can do it!

March 6

• Today’s word count: 148
• Thoughts: Today was not the fantastic return to writing that I hoped for. I’m struggling to figure out what this scene needs to be. I thought I knew when I started, but at this point I don’t’ think my original intention is what the story needs at all. I’ll figure it out. Soon. I hope.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Keep working on this scene until I have it figured out and I’m happy with it!

March 7

• Thoughts: Today turned out to be pretty productive. Yay! I was starting to get worried that I was falling into another writing funk.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! Maybe some revising? We’ll see!

March 8

• Thoughts: I just could not get myself into the writing mindset today. I kept wanting to go over the same things I’d already written again and again.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Write, revise, repeat!

March 9

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 212
• Thoughts: Today was a slightly more productive day than I expected it to be writing-wise. Fridays are usually really difficult for me, but I managed to write today and I moved my desk. I’m hoping having a bit of a change of scenery (I’m on the other side of the room and I cut off my ability to stare out windows instead of get to work) will help me be a little more productive. My desk was in the same place for 4.5 years. I really needed to change some things up about my desk arrangement.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Back to writing. Revising. Maybe get a chapter posted? We’ll see. I did just have a surprisingly productive Friday.

March 10

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 229
• Thoughts: Today could have been better, but it could have been worse. I’m not going to complain about making progress, but I really wish I had found more focus and accomplished everything I set out to do.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Get this chapter polished and posted. I think I can manage at least that much on a Sunday.

March 11

• Today’s word count: 227
• Thoughts: Today was a pretty productive day. I got a chapter posted and outlined some new scenes which should keep me busy for a little while.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Writing! I have the outlines. I can make this happen.
