April was another slow reading month. I was trying to focus on writing, and I was successful in that aspect. I just wish it didn’t come at the expense of my reading time.

I am so not on track with my reading goals this year. Ha! Writing has definitely taken precedence for me. Someday I’ll find a better balance between writing and reading.

It’s hard! Sometimes I think being focused on writing makes getting lost in a good book almost impossible. My thoughts are on the craft while I’m absorbed in writing so I’m picking apart a book while I read it to see what makes it work.
