• Thoughts: I took some time to write by hand today and once again it proved to be really productive. I wish that I felt confident I could transcribe everything in a timely manner. Then I might feel comfortable working on more of my main project by hand. I hate trying to type up my own writing, though. I get ahead of myself and manage to skip a lot of words.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! I feel confident I can make it happen after the great day I had today.

May 1

• Thoughts: Today was a productive day. I have no complaints about the words I wrote today. If every day could be like today, I’d be in really good shape.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Hopefully I can keep the good writing mojo going.

May 2

• Thoughts: Yay! Another productive day! I wish all days could be like this, but I know that I couldn’t keep up this pace. I’m going to enjoy it for as long as I have the time and energy to put into the work.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Some revising. I think I can make it happen.

May 3

• Today’s word count: 215
• Thoughts: Today was not the great writing day I hoped to have. The surprise jump to summer weather around here drained me of energy. I napped. I tried to keep cool. I didn’t get nearly as much done as I would have liked.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. More revising. Let’s see if I can have a fantastic Friday!

May 4

• Thoughts: This was such a typical Friday writing-wise. I had too much going on to concentrate on writing for long.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Revising. I want to get this week’s chapter posted!

May 5

• Thoughts: Today was okay. It could have been better, of course, but I think it could have been a lot worse. I had a fairly busy day and still managed to find time to write!
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Get the chapter posted (only a little bit late).

May 6

• Today’s word count: 287
• Thoughts: I did what I set out to do! I’m pretty proud of that. Now I just have to hope everyone enjoys the new chapter.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Back to writing! Mondays are usually pretty productive. Let’s hope I can keep up that pattern.
