• Thoughts: Today was a pretty productive day. It took me a long time to get the words, not because I was distracted, but because the words were constantly trickling out. These sorts of days are pretty great.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I know I can do it!

May 8

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 320
• Thoughts: Today was not the day I hoped for. I wanted to have a fantastic, productive writing day, but I got a monster of a headache instead. I tried to write, but I didn’t get as far as I had hoped.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. If I can manage to feel better, I think I can do it.

May 9

• Thoughts: Today did not go like I hoped. I spent a lot of time acting as tech support while trying to get my boyfriend’s computer up and running. I managed to do some revising done while fighting with Windows, but I could not focus on writing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Back to writing and some more revising!

May 10

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 565
• Thoughts: Today was a bit better, but I’m still not totally thrilled with what I accomplished. I should be happy. I wrote. I just don’t like how hard it was to get myself to start writing. It make me nervous for tomorrow.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. More revising. Let’s hope for a better than average Friday!

May 11

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 822
• Thoughts: Today was not a typical Friday in any way. I was busy. I was productive. It was awesome. I wish more days could be like this.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Wrap up revisions and get this week’s chapter posted! I know I can do it. I just hope I can write after I get all that work done.

May 12

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 46
• Thoughts: Today was a bit of a strange day. I wrapped up my revisions for this week’s chapter and got it posted. Then I tried to write and spent most of my time distracted by my wandering mind. I wanted to focus, but there were too many stray thoughts in my head to settle on one thing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Back to focusing on writing. I know I can do it. There’s plenty of story to be told. I just need to write it down.

May 13

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 170,225
• Today’s word count: 204
• Thoughts: Today was not the greatest writing day ever. It took a lot of effort to get started and when I did, my writing was still crawling along. I won’t complain about progress, though, and I did make progress today.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I’m positive I can make a ton of words happen if I put my mind to it.
