• Thoughts: Holy crap! Today was a strange day! I was busy! I went outside! I fought trolls on Twitter! I messed around with the word in my story but when the time came to try to write I was ready to pass out.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Write! Stay awake long enough to write like normal!

June 26

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 178,080
• Today’s word count: 111
• Thoughts: Today was not as productive as I hoped, but I made progress. This scene is evolving the way I envisioned it, but it is taking me a long time to bring it to life. Maybe I’m just impatient!
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I’m sure I can do it. The story is in my head. I need to get it out.

June 27

• Today’s word count: 486
• Thoughts: Today was pretty productive and most of my writing happened at a different time of day than usual. I could get used to this!
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Maybe some revising. We’ll see!

June 28

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 133
• Thoughts: Today was not quite as productive as I wanted it to be. I just couldn’t focus. The real world got to me, distracted me, and really got me down. I hope I can wipe the slate clean by sleeping.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. More revising. I’m hoping I can escape into my writing and have a good day.

June 29

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 80
• Thoughts: I worked on revisions today! I didn’t do much else with my writing, but I made progress and that’s always a victory on Friday.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Wrap up revisions. Post chapter. Write more words. Don’t melt!!!

June 30

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 44
• Thoughts: The heatwave is in full swing today. I managed to finish revising and get the chapter posted. Then my brain melted. No more writing while the brain is melted. I don’t think a week’s worth of revising could salvage melted-brain writing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Start CampNaNoWriMo! Try not to melt. This heatwave isn’t going to let up anytime soon.

July 1

• Project: Inbetween
• Total word count: 178,862
• Today’s word count: 39
• Thoughts: I thought I’d work on The Dreams today. I thought I’d write more in general, but the day got away from me. On the bright side, I made some new cat friends!
• Tomorrow’s goal: Back to writing. I need to buckle down and focus. This month is CampNaNoWriMo, after all.
