• Today’s word count: 156
• Thoughts: Today was odd. I decided I wanted to keep writing in the final days leading up to NaNoWriMo, but I spent most of the day chatting about NaNo with people on Twitter and Discord. I’m not upset about this, but it’s a bit odd to think one thing and end up doing another without an external influence.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing or not. I’m not pressuring myself to do anything.

October 30

• Today’s word count: 699

• Thoughts: Today was pretty productive! I love productive days! I hope I can build on this momentum for NaNoWriMo.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing! Maybe I should rest up before the writing marathon begins, but I’ve done that in previous years and I just don’t feel like doing it again this year.

October 31

• Project: Inbetween

• Today’s word count: 98
• Thoughts: I wrote a bit, but NaNoWriMo excitement kept me away from writing. It seems silly considering it is a writing event, but I was too busy talking about it during hours leading up to midnight to do much else.
• Tomorrow’s goal: NANOWRIMO!

November 1

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 47,957
• Today’s word count: 1,830
• Thoughts: It was the first day of NaNoWriMo. What more can I say? The energy was great for writing.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. More NaNoWriMo. Let’s hope I can ignore the fact that it is Friday.

November 2

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 48,873
• Today’s word count: 916
• Thoughts: Ugh. Fridays are hard. I tried. Considering how most of my Fridays go, this was an extremely successful day and if it was any other day of the week my word count would be astronomical.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. Tomorrow is Double Up Day. I’m going to try to write two days worth of words in one day. Let’s see how that goes!

November 3

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 49,834
• Today’s word count: 961
• Thoughts: Today wasn’t bad. I’m still managing to get decent word counts, but they’re not good enough for NaNoWriMo. I need to focus on writing more and other weekend things less.
• Tomorrow’s goal: Find time to write around the weekend stuff. I have another busy day ahead of me so this might be a bit of a challenge.

November 4

• Project: The Dreams
• Total word count: 51,045
• Today’s word count: 1,211
• Thoughts: I was out of the house for most of the day. When I got home I was exhausted. Somehow I still managed to write a decent number of words. It wasn’t enough to get caught up for NaNoWriMo, but I’m not complaining.
• Tomorrow’s goal: More writing. I know I can do it. I have the time. I have the motivation!
