What I Read in August

I didn’t finish as many books this month and I didn’t start any new ones either. I guess it was a slow reading month. It happens sometimes but I’m a little worried it will become a pattern. I don’t want to read less. There are too many good books out there.

Books I finished reading in August:

  • Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo

Books I’m currently reading:

  • House of Many Ways – Diana Wynne Jones
  • The Poppy War – R. F. Kuang
  • Exit Strategy – Martha Wells

Do you ever unintentionally read less for a little while? Do you do something to start reading more or do you let the phase run its course?

    • It didn’t blow my away but I had fun reading it. It’s been a while since I read a book with so many POV characters so that was a good change of pace. I’ll probably get around to reading the second book eventually. The waiting list at my library is extremely long right now so it’ll be a while before I have a chance even if I make room on my hold list for it.
