What I Read in April

April was a chaotic month! We bought a house! We spent the first two thirds of the month stressing and completing all the necessary steps to finalize buying the house. Then we started working on making the house the way we want it to be and moving in. As you can imagine, reading wasn’t top priority.

However, I still managed to read some this month! I don’t think I’d be able to go a whole month without reading at all.

Books I finished reading in April:

Books I’m currently reading:

Have you ever had periods in your life where you just can’t find the time to dedicate to reading? How did you get through it? I feel like I’m missing out on so much when I don’t read much for an extended period of time. It also drives me up the wall when I don’t get through books and I have so many left waiting on my to be read pile.

  1. I feel like I spend most of my days wishing I had time to read but when I get time, I spy dirty dishes or a dusty floor or think “I should hang washing out, it’s such a sunny day” and then I don’t read them! I’m stoked for you (Australian for pleased for you) that you got to read 3 books (!!!) while having to cope with the stress of moving house! That’s awesome!

    • I always enjoyed juggling multiple books and that eventually transformed into reading books in different formats. Now that I’m a lot busier than usual I’m struggling to handle what would be a normal number of books for me under better conditions.
