No writing progress
We needed to get our old apartment cleaned up and ready to say goodbye by the end of the month so Monday and Tuesday were a little chaotic. The last of our junk got hauled away Tuesday morning and it was oddly emotional. I didn’t sleep well in anticipation for the junk removal crew’s arrival so I spent the rest of Tuesday in a haze. Things have been really heating up this week too so that has been draining my already low energy reserves.

- Thoughts: I wrote! Holy crap! I’m so pumped. I almost immediately ran out of steam. That’s to be expected, I suppose. My writing muscles are extremely out of shape after the last month or two. I’m also just exhausted in just about every other way possible from the insanity of packing, moving, and now unpacking. I can’t wait for things to settle down a little.
- Tomorrow’s goal: I can’t believe we’re back to Friday already. I can’t believe we’re also getting back into our usual Friday routine (at least a little). I have errands to run in the morning and chores and unpacking waiting for me to get to for the rest of the day. I would love to write some more but I think I need to be realistic about how much time and energy I’ll have. We’ll see what happens!

No writing progress
Errands and unpacking and arranging the house took over again. I missed writing so much, but I just didn’t have energy for both. Getting the house to be livable day to day has to be a priority right now even if it is causing my brain to feel itchy as the ideas start demanding an escape.

- Thoughts: I wrote! I had another busy day but I was able to settle in and get some writing done before I got too exhausted to think or type. Hopefully this will become more the norm. The house is starting to become more functional so I probably won’t have to spend all day organizing and moving things around anymore.
- Tomorrow’s goal: I have a big task tomorrow: our couch is getting delivered. Then I’ll be doing more unpacking and organizing. My goal will be to stop in the evening and switch gears to writing and make some real progress for once. Maybe I’ll actually manage to do it this time.
