- Thoughts: I think I’m back on track with writing every day. Two days in a row might be a bit early to declare that, but I’m feeling good about it.
- Tomorrow’s goal: More writing, of course. It should be a fairly quiet day. I’ll probably take a walk. The garden will also need some attention. However, I will still have plenty of time to write between the other things. I can’t wait!

- Thoughts: I almost didn’t write today. I kept getting sidetracked. Then I wrote finally just before bedtime. I still need to work on getting on with the writing earlier in the day.
- Tomorrow’s goal: Let’s see if I can actually do what I say I need to do for once. It shouldn’t be impossible. It might be difficult. I should just give it a try.

- Thoughts: I tried to write a little earlier today but didn’t get far. I wrote another sentence before bed and I couldn’t keep going. I really need to either get better at writing earlier in the day or get back to staying up late.
- Tomorrow’s goal: I have to get ready for Camp NaNoWriMo. I don’t need to worry about planning or outlining since I’m going to continue this draft of The Dreams. Mostly I just need to mentally prepare for writing more than I have been for an entire month. Right now I’m feeling optimistic about it. We’ll see how long that lasts.

- Thoughts: I wrote! Then I stopped because I wanted to read something. Before I knew it, midnight was here and I needed to start counting my words for Camp NaNoWriMo.
- Tomorrow’s goal: Errands are still a thing and it is supposed to be awfully hot, but I still intend to write!

- Thoughts: The tradition of not writing the target amount on the first day of a NaNo even has continued. I’m sort of proud of it, if I’m being completely honest. Not meeting the daily word count every day, even the first day, doesn’t mean I’m going to lose. Some days are just better than others and for some reason I get way too excited on the first day of the event and can’t get my words in.
- Tomorrow’s goal: More writing, of course. I’m looking forward to making a valiant attempt to get caught up.

- Thoughts: I started out the day thinking I would spend the day trying to keep cool and writing at much as possible. Of course nothing ever goes as planned. We adopted a kitten! It was something we’d talked about for a while and weren’t planning on doing just yet, but a friend has rescued a kitten and couldn’t keep it so jumped in to raising a kitten sooner than expected. The baby is a cutie and I’m looking forward to seeing what sort of cat she will grow up to be.
- Tomorrow’s goal: Hopefully I will be able to focus on writing at least a little bit. I know for a fact the kitten is going to demand a lot of my attention. Our other cats are also going to demand a fair share of my attention because they are very jealous. On top of that we have some family coming over in the evening to see fireworks and visit. Hopefully there will be time to write somewhere in there.

- Thoughts: I was distracted by a lot of things today. The kitten was at the top of the list. The continued heat and humidity was also an issue. On top of that, my aunt, uncle, and cousin came over and watched the town’s fireworks from our backyard. We were very excited when we realized we had a good view of the sky above the park from our yard. Now we don’t have to deal with the crowds at the usual viewing spots!
- Tomorrow’s goal: I’m sure the kitten will continue to be a huge distraction. I’m going to do my best to write anyway. I’m sure I can manage it since she needs to take a lot of naps.
